Power Of Creating Original Music

There is a unique power that comes from creating original music. I always aim to make sure my students have the opportunity to tap into their own creativity and express their musical voices.

In this session, I recorded a simple chord progression. I challenged my students to collaborate and create a drum pattern (Kick, snare, and aux drum sounds). After they recorded drums, I asked them to create a melody on the xylophone. This was the result!I’m always inspired by their willingness to rise to the challenge👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
